If your child is unsure about which program to enroll in, our New Member Special is the perfect solution.
Open to boys and girls of all ages, our aim is to transform your child's energy into ambition by teaching them the fundamentals. We'll take your athlete through all of the Iowa X-Plosion areas to determine the best fit for your athlete and family.
The New Member Special is centered entirely on FUN and not based on progression.
Our tumbling program is the perfect choice if you're searching for something that your child will enjoy while also being challenging.
We focus on developing a strong foundation, body control, core strength, and knowledge of tumbling forms and shapes. Athletes will start with general strength and back/front skills, then move on to building power in shapes and angles.
During our beginner classes, athletes work at their own pace and skill level, all while being closely monitored by our safety-certified instructors.
We use a variety of teaching methods, including drills, stations, obstacle courses, repetition, and spotted skills. Our primary goal is to have fun while teaching progressions that result in the acquisition of new skills. We encourage our athletes to set personal goals and work with coaches, as well as independently, to achieve them.
Is your child an enthusiastic jumper? Then Double Mini Trampoline might be the perfect program for them!
Our Double Mini program is tailored to teach the fundamentals of the sport.
Athletes will gain a strong foundation in body positions and techniques. With the use of drills and obstacle courses, students develop body control and the ability to execute tight movements while using the trampolines.
With our program, your athlete will be one step closer to mastering proper trampoline techniques and executing flips with ease.
Combining Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline for the Ultimate Athlete
Are you a recreational athlete looking to take your skills to the next level? Our program combines the best of both worlds by incorporating Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline exercises.
We welcome new members with all levels of experience starting at age 4 and up.
In this program, athletes will have the opportunity to practice both events with other competitive members and participate in various events and meets throughout the year.
Offering cheerleading to our youth at every commitment level! Our Cheerleading classes at Iowa X-Plosion run in sessions for ages 5+!
Our cheerleading classes are designed to help young athletes build their skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities. Whether your child is just starting out or is already an experienced cheerleader, our program has something to offer.
During our classes, athletes will learn a variety of cheers, chants, and routines that they can perform at games, competitions, and other events. Our experienced coaches will work with each athlete to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
At Iowa X-Plosion, we believe that cheerleading is about more than just performing routines. It's about building a community of athletes who support and encourage each other both on and off the mat. Our program fosters a positive and inclusive environment where athletes can make friends, build confidence, and have fun.
Enhance Your Athletic Ability with Flexibility and Fitness Classes
Athletes are trained to safely challenge their physical limits while also increasing flexibility and overall fitness. If you're considering a cheer or tumbling class, we strongly suggest this course. Possessing solid strength and flexibility is critical when it comes to executing cheer and tumbling skills. By combining Flexibility & Fitness with your current classes, you can improve your techniques and reduce the risk of injury due to insufficient strength or mobility.
Discover an Exciting Blend of Physical Elements in One Class
Experience the perfect combination of balance, strength, grace, and flexibility with dance, group stunts, tumbling, gymnastics, and contortionism all in a single class. Athletes who participate in acro are encouraged to join a tumbling class to improve and strengthen their acrobatic skills, as tumbling is an essential tool for achieving the best results.
Nurturing Independent and Group Learning Skills
Our baby & tot classes prioritize both individual and group learning skills. Our safety-certified instructors specialize in teaching fundamental movements, exploration, motor skills, core strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility to our youngest athletes.
18 months to 3 year olds, can participate in
**Parent & Me**, a program that involves parental assistance.
Building Independent Learning and Group Learning Skills
Our classes for young athletes focus on developing both individual and team skills. Our safety-certified instructors teach the fundamentals of tumbling, core strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility.
